Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Pool Technician to join our team. As a Pool Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and cleaning pools, as well as performing equipment repairs. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain pools to ensure they are safe and ready for use
- Perform regular pool maintenance tasks, such as checking water chemistry, adjusting chemical levels, and vacuuming debris
- Inspect pool equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chlorinators, for proper functioning
- Repair or replace pool equipment components as needed
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool equipment and systems
- Install new pool equipment and systems when necessary
- Maintain accurate records of pool maintenance activities and repairs performed
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and maintenance procedures
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for equipment repair
- Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with pool equipment
- Mechanical knowledge to perform repairs on pumps, filters, heaters, etc.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure pools are properly cleaned and maintained
- Strong problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during pool maintenance or repair
- Good communication skills to interact with clients and provide information on pool maintenance
